General

How do I know which model of the PSP system I own?

Check for distinguishing aesthetic characteristics as described above. Or check the model number on the system. The PSP system model number is displayed inside the battery compartment. Remove the battery cover and look in the upper-right corner of the battery compartment for the letters "PSP" followed by a series of numbers. These letters and numbers are your unit's model number. System information is also printed on the front of the packaging your PSP system came in.

If you purchased a PSP system as part of the Limited Edition Ratchet   Clank® PSP Entertainment Pack (Mystic Silver), the Limited Edition Ratchet   Clank® PSP Entertainment Pack (Piano Black) or the PSP-3000 Core Pack, then you own a PSP-3000 system.

If you purchased a PSP system as part of the Daxter™ Entertainment Pack, Star Wars Battlefront® Entertainment Pack, God of War® Entertainment Pack, Madden NFL 09 Entertainment Pack or the PSP-2000 system Core Pack, then you own a PSP-2000 system.

If you purchased a PSP system as part of the ATV Offroad Fury Entertainment Pack, Giga Pack, Value Pack, or the PSP-1000 Core Pack, then you own a PSP-1000 system.

What are the new features and specs of the updated PSP system?
