PLAYSTATION®2 AND HOUSE OF BLUES® BRING EXCLUSIVE PLAYSTATION 2™ DUAL PLAY SHOW TO MIAMI BEACH

One-Night Engagement Reunites Today's Most Renowned DJs Including Ferry Corsten, Bad Boy Bill, Dieselboy and DJ Rap

FOSTER CITY, Calif., February 26, 2004 Sony Computer Entertainment America and House of Blues® reunite all-star DJs from prior PlayStation®2 Dual Play Tours for an exclusive one-night-only show on Saturday, March 6, 10 p.m. at Opium Garden, the premier nightclub in Miami Beach. Produced and promoted by House of Blues and Spundae, the PlayStation 2™ Dual Play show will feature Dutch legend Ferry Corsten (Moonshine Music), house DJ legend Bad Boy Bill (System Recordings), America's #1 Drum and Bass DJ Dieselboy (HUMAN/System Recordings), and undisputed queen of drum n' bass DJ Rap (Proper Talent/System Recordings). The one-night-only PlayStation 2™ Dual Play show tops-off the first day of dance music's most anticipated event of the year, the Winter Music Conference. This unparalleled networking event is entering its second decade of bringing music professionals together from all over the world. To celebrate the music and its fans responsible for this annual event, PlayStation 2™ Dual Play DJs will twirl the dial on some amazing beats in an intimate club setting, giving dance fans the opportunity to rub elbows with the biggest names in music.

Each spring, Miami Beach becomes the focal point of the industry as the best and brightest talent gather to celebrate a shared passion for music, Sharon Shapiro, director, promotions, Sony Computer Entertainment America. We share this passion, as do our gamers, and with our exclusive Dual Play event, we hope to create an intimate, fun and entertaining night that is worthy of this audience and an experience that only PlayStation 2™ can deliver.

The DJs responsible for whipping the crowd into a frenzy are definitely up for the challenge. Hailing from Rotterdam, Ferry Corsten has received countless accolades, including several 2004 nominations from DanceStar® USA, The American Dance Music Awards, and currently ranks among the top 10 best DJs in the world according to numerous dance music publications. Chicago native Bad Boy Bill, voted by BPM Culture Magazine as America's Favorite DJ and recently nominated in the Best DJ (U.S.) category by DanceStar USA, is a cutting edge dance music innovator. A pioneer of the drum and bass movement, and the best selling DJ/producer in the genre, Philadelphia-based Dieselboy's remix of Styles of Beyond's Subculture is featured in rhythm-action game, Amplitude . DJ Rap is recognized as one of the best mixers and jungle producers in the business and is a trailblazer for other female DJs.

Since 2002, the PlayStation 2™ Dual Play brand has come to symbolize the very best in the gaming and electronic music lifestyles and recognized among the industry with the recent nomination by DanceStar USA for The American Dance Music Award for Best Event (U.S.). Moving in time with the beat, images of such upcoming and exciting titles as: FINAL FANTASY® XI, Syphon Filter®: The Omega Strain, Rise to Honor, Jak II, SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs, and Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando will be projected in the club as the audience enjoys the musical mastering of the Dual Play Tour DJs. While catching their breath from the dance floor, guests can also play some of the most in-demand titles for the number one console on PlayStation 2™ kiosks set-up inside the club.
