The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States and D.C. only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not a legal resident of, and located in, the 50 United States or D.C. at the time of entry.

LittleBigPlanet™ 2 Progressive Challenge

OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. Void outside the 50 United States and D.C., and where prohibited by law. Must be 13 years of age or older must have access to a PlayStation^®3 system and a copy of LittleBigPlanet™2. You must also have a valid PlayStation^®Network account ("PSN ID") and access to the internet. Contest begins August 8, 2012 12:01 AM, EST and runs through September 4, 2012 11:59 PM EST. Entrants will load their copy of LittleBigPlanet™ 2 into their PS3™ system and download the Progressive Level. Entrants will play through the Progressive level to find and collect prize bubbles which contain the tools needed to design their own custom level. Once the Entrant has collected their prize bubbles, they may begin designing their own level. Once the level is complete, Entrants must publish the level to the LittleBigPlanet™ 2 community. To identify the level as a valid entry, Entrants must use "Pro_" in the title.

All entries must be received (published) no later than September 4, 2012 11:59 PM, EST. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, illegible, incomplete, postage due or misdirected entries. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. In the event fewer entries are received than the number of prizes to be awarded, Sponsor reserves the right to take action as it reasonably deems necessary under the circumstances. In the event that fewer entries are received than the number of prizes to be awarded, Sponsor reserves the right to take action as it reasonably deems necessary under the circumstances. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Entries not satisfying these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified.

2. WINNER SELECTION / PRIZES: The LittleBigPlanet™ community will vote on which levels they like the best using the "Heart" system of rating, and levels are ranked accordingly. The ten levels with the most Hearts from the community at the time the contest ends become the pool of finalists. A panel of SCEA Judges will choose the Grand Prize winner and four Second Place winners from the ten finalists. Decisions of the Judges are final. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen on a basis of originality (40%), quality/polish (20%), brand awareness (10%) and creative use of items (30%). Winners will be notified via the e-mail account used in creating their PlayStation^®Network ID. Winners who do not respond within 14 days of notification will be disqualified. In the event of a disqualification, SCEA will select another Second Place winner from the ten finalists. (If the Grand Prize winner is disqualified for failure to respond, SCEA will choose a new Grand Prize winner from among the four Second Place winners before selecting a new Second Place winner from the remaining ten finalists).
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be chosen among all valid entries received. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a PlayStation^®3 console, a PlayStation^®VITA handheld with a 4GB memory card, and copies of LittleBigPlanet™ (VITA), LittleBigPlanet ™ Karting (PS3), and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3 and VITA). (Approximate retail value: $720.00).
Four (4) Second Place prize winners will each receive a PlayStation^® VITA handheld, a 4GB memory card, and a copy of LittleBigPlanet™ (VITA) (approximate retail value: $320). Sponsor reserves the right to ship prizes separately as they become available and to substitute a prize of equal value if prize is unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions allowed. Winners shall be notified by mail and/or telephone. Once notified, allow 6-8 weeks for initial delivery of hardware prizes. For software prizes, allow 4-6 weeks for delivery after the game has been released.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to legal residents of United States only who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies and affiliates and each of their related companies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Void outside the 50 United States and D.C., and where prohibited by law.

4. GENERAL: Grand Prize Winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within ten (10) days of prize notification. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. If winner is a minor, then the Affidavit must be signed by winner’s parent or legal guardian and returned within the stated time period or prize may be forfeited. Winner(s) agree to the use of their name and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Additionally, winner(s) agrees to release Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies, divisions, and affiliates, as well as Progressive Casualty Insurance and its respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agencies, advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Contest-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Neither Sponsor nor their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, divisions nor related companies are responsible for any damages, or expenses that winners might incur as a result of this contest or receipt of prize. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

5. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds depends upon number of valid entries received.

6. WINNERS LIST: To obtain a list of winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: LBP2 Progressive Challenge Winners' List, c/o PlayStation Network Advertising, 989 E. Hillsdale Blvd., 1st Floor, Foster City, CA 94404. Winners' list requests will be fulfilled within four weeks after all prizes have been awarded. Requests for winners' list must be received by October 1, 2012.
